College students can purchase the student version of MATLAB for a reduced price. It is important to note this is for personal computers only. Due to licensing restrictions, this version may not be installed on PSU owned hardware.

If you are interested in remote access to MATLAB, it is installed on most Linux systems, the Terminal Server, and our Windows Remote Lab.

PSU maintains a series of floating/concurrent licenses for Matlab and various toolboxes.  Matlab is installed on most generally available lab computers in MCECS (both Windows and Linux).

If you are an MCECS Faculty Member and managing a PSU-owned Tier 3 computer that you want to install Matlab on, contact the CAT for getting access to the software download and licensing information.
