Due to the severity of some of the patches involved for servers, we are moving up our server patching to Thursday Night (November 14th, at 9:45pm).
There will be REBOOTS of all MCECS supported Windows Servers at 9:45 PM on Thursday, November 14th, 2024. This work should be completed by 11:30 PM. This will affect the Windows Homedirs (N: drives, dept shares), access to Stashes, Printing, Networked Applications and Network Licenses.
This work is needed to ensure that Windows Updates have been applied to our Servers. It is best to logout from your Windows account prior to that time.
Patches are being released for CAT supported Windows Workstations on Wednesday (11/13/2024). Desktops that have not been patched in the interim should reboot for patches at 6PM FRIDAY evening based on the original patch schedule.
This work is not expected to affect any Linux systems.
