MCECS, CPSO and PSU have worked together to enhance security and safety in EB and FAB without sacrificing accessibility. To this end the exterior door hours are changing. The changes below will go into effect on Monday September 16, 2019.
New hours for exterior doors:
Harrison Street Doors (east and west)
- 24/7 card access only
- Maseeh College folks have 24/7 access at west door into the building
- Other PSU people have access M-F 7:30am to 9:30pm ONLY
City of Portland entrance (facing 4th ave)
We are working with the city to reduce the unlock hours to mirror the new EB unlock hours. This door will continue to be staffed by security when unlocked. PSU will have card access all other hours.
EB (north facing gallery doors)
- Locked 24/7 and currently do not have card access.
- These will be unrestricted exit only doors.
EB Main Entrance (facing 4th ave)
- Unlocked Monday thru Friday 7:30am to 5:30pm providing business, delivery, and guess access.
- These doors will be card access only all other hours including weekends.
EB South Entrance (facing the Jacobs building)
No change to this entrance it remains 24/7 card access only
Who has card access?
- All Maseeh College faculty, staff and students will continue to have 24/7 card access.
- All other PSU faculty, staff and students, when the buildings are locked, will have card access only Monday thru Friday 7:30am to 9:30pm for access to classes.
