This is our projected Fall 2018 Windows Instructional Software list. Much of this software (with a few exceptions) will be available in the load we distribute to the larger MCECS Windows computer labs.
If you are an MCECS faculty member who teaches classes using these labs and/or require students to use software in these labs, we need your feedback on the following:
- Which items in this list do you expect your students and/or groups to be using during the coming Academic Year?
- Is there anything in there that should be REMOVED? (ie: should not be installed for Fall 2018)
- Do you have a newer version for us to install than the one we are planning on installing?
- Will you be testing the software yourself or do you have any assistants/students who will be doing that before Fall 2018 begins? (We are moving to Windows 10 version 1709. The machine FAB39 in the FAB 55-17 lab has been set up with this new load and is available for testing right now.)
- Do you have any new instructional software that you want added to this list? (If you are getting new software and they come with license agreements requiring PSU signatures, allow enough time for interacting with the PSU contracts office.)
