The CAT’s Wintel operation is currently neck deep in final-stretch preparations for our Computer Lab reloads that happen in September. This involves doing a lot of software upgrade testing and integration on Windows 10 version 1709. This work is impacting our ability to get new Windows desktop deployments done in a timely fashion.
We’ve noticed a dramatic uptick in the number of system load/reload requests from various groups and some of the new hardware is also presenting unplanned wrinkles to our deployment process that we have to resolve. While we are continuing to work on deployments, expect turnaround to take longer during this late Summer phase until we get the main computer labs dealt with.
