Introduction

Occasionally, a monitor will start displaying in grayscale. This problem is related to the particular monitor and persists across logins.

The solution!

To fix this, right-click on the desktop to bring up a menu and choose the Nvidia Control Panel.

Choose Display, then Adjust Desktop Color Settings.

Locate the Digital Vibrance slider, move it back to 50%, and color shall be restored!
