Disabling Remote Gateway on Windows 7 Print

Warning!  These instructions depend on you already having set up the VPN connection laid out in these steps for Windows 7:  http://cat.pdx.edu/windows/maseeh-college-vpn---windows-7-2.html
  1.  Click on the Start orb and click on Control Panel

  2. Scroll down and double click on Network and Sharing Center to open it

  3. Left click on Change adapter settings to open it

  4. Right click on MCECS VPN and then select properties

  5. On this screen you will need to UNcheck Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6);Then highlight Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click on the Properties button

  6. Click on the Advanced button

  7. UNcheck Use default gateway on remote network so that your window looks this picture:

  8. Click on the OK button and you should be set!
