How to Burn a CD or DVD with Windows 7

Step One

Locate the content (music, files, videos, etc.) in windows explorer. Make sure _only_ the content you want to burn to disc is in the folder. You can also hand selece the files you want to burn by holding the "Ctrl" key and selecting the files one by one with your mouse. Once you have done this, click the "Burn" button as shown in the screenshot below:

Step Two

You will now see a box asking, "how do you want to use this disc?". Windows does a very good job explaining the options and also provides a help link.

Step Three

Now, a new Windows explorer box will appear, and Windows will inform you that, "there are files waiting to be burned to disc." Click Burn and your files will now be burned to your disc.
