Do not use this VPN service. It will be decommissioned on June 22, 2017.

For MCECS VPN services, please use our OpenVPN

Windows 8.1 PPTP Setup

From the Start Menu, search for network and sharing.

Choose "Set up a new connection or network".

Choose "Connect to a workplace".

Choose "Use my Internet connection (VPN)"

Enter in the internet address and destination name:

The address is: 131.252.212.14
Destination name could be anything you can remember the VPN by. We recommend PSU CECS VPN or something of the same.

Afterwards, open the start menu, and search view network. Click view network connections.

Right click on the VPN connection you just created, and choose properties.

Click the Security tab, and select "Allow these protocols" and then only check "MS-CHAP v2" and no other boxes.

Close all the opened menus, and then connect to the VPN from the Networks bar on the right using your CECS credentials.
