What is CRAM?

CRAM (CECS Remote Account manager) is a system that allows MCECS users to access their username and password information remotely.  Students who need to validate a new MCECS account remotely can use CRAM to access their validation sheet with their new username and password information.  Students requesting a password reset remotely can also use CRAM to access their new password information.  Users must enter their PSU (Odin) username and password.

How Do I use CRAM?

CRAM will prompt you by asking your ODIN credentials by taking you to the Single Sign On (SSO) page for PSU. Log in there, and depending on your account situation, you have a series of options. Those account situations and options are detailed below.

Not taking MCECS classes?

Only students who are taking MCECS classes, or have taken MCECS classes recently, are eligible for an MCECS account. If you log in but receive a message stating you have no accounts, please check your class schedule to make sure you are signed up for an MCECS class.

First time taking MCECS classes?

If you are taking your first MCECS class, after signing in you will see a button to request the activation of your account. This will send an email to and we will send an email back when the account is finished being created.

Note: If you registered for a class today it might take up to 2 days before you can use CRAM to activate your account.

Password Recovery

If you password was reset in the past 3 days, you will see a button to recover the original randomly generated password. After 3 days, the password is not accessible and you would need to reset it.

Password Resetting

If you forgot your password, you can reset it in CRAM by clicking the reset password button next to the username.
