What is it?
ELMS for MSDNAA is an online software system where eligible students and faculty can download and access a wide range of Microsoft developer tools, servers, and platforms. There is no charge to download the software as long as you are an eligible user in the System.
Who is eligible?
Any student currently enrolled in a class offered by the Maseeh College is eligible. Any current faculty member in a Maseeh College department is also eligible.
E-academy Inc., a partner of Microsoft, provides ELMS, the software download website, for MSDNAA.
How do I register?
Simply sign in to the PSU Maseeh College MSDNaa page using your CECS credentials and follow the instructions. There is also a link to the MSDNAA page at intranet.cecs.pdx.edu under the General tab.
How long do the licenses last?
The registrations provided by the CAT are good for one academic year from the term they're issued.
What software is available?
A partial list of software is available at the PSU Maseeh College MSDNaa page. (Click on the Software link on the top of that page.)
Some examples of available software include Windows XP Professional, Windows 2003 Server, Visual Studio .Net, MSDN Libraries, SQL Server Developer Edition, and Visio.
Note that the main Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) are NOT included in this program.
