Before you continue, this will only work with Mac OS X 10.5.3 and later
This procedure will only work if you have local administrator privileges on your computer.
NOTE: If you are not on a network computer, or using a wired connection, you will need to be connected to the VPN )
Step 1
Go to system preferences, and select "Print and Fax"
Step 2
Click on the "+" in the lower left corner of the Print & Fax System Preferences panel.
Step 3
Right click (or control-click) in the printer toolbar, select "Customize Toolbar..." and drag the "Advanced" icon into the toolbar. Now click on "Advanced".
Step 4
From the Advanced screen, select "Windows"

Set the "URL:" to "smb://131.252.210.111/<printername>"

Set "Name:" to "<printername>". For example, "eb325bw1"

From the "Print Using:" drop down menu, select the appropriate print driver.

Click "Add".

Configure the printer specific settings.

Click "Continue".
Step 5
Now you should see the printer listed in your default printers in
“Printers and Faxes”.
10.5 -10.59 OS:The first time you go to print from the web or a
document, it will prompt you for your username and password. Remember to include CECS\ in your username.
Example: CECS\myusername
Select remember this password if you do not wish to repeat this step each time you print.
10.6 OS: Once you select to print a job, you will need to click on the printer icon that appears in the dock. Click "resume" for your job, and a login prompt will appear asking for your username and password.
Remember to include CECS\ in your username.
Example: CECS\myusername
