Friday, 15 April 2011

Step 1: Connect to the MCECS VPN

*Note: These images were taken from a Macintosh running Mac OS 10.6.7, your setup may look slightly different, especially from older versions, though everything should work about the same

Step 3: Entering Your Stash Path

  • Once you've clicked on the "Connect to Server..." option, enter the path to your stash. To determine which file server your stash is located on, please look at https://intranet.cecs.pdx.edu/stash/ . Once you've determined if your stash is on the file server named bunny or caerbannog, your path will be "smb://your_file_server.cat.pdx.edu/your_stash". Enter this into the address bar, removing the quotation marks and replacing "your_file_server" with bunny or caerbannog, and replacing "your_stash" with your stash folder's name. Then click the "Connect" button.
